The Odd Little Museum opened in the summer of 2021 with an exhibit titled

“We Hope This Art Finds You Well,”

a reflection on art making and creativity during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Since then, it’s exhibited “Radio Relics”

a retrospective on sixty-five years of community radio at WTJU curated by Paige Waterhouse.

And “Dreaming Charlottesville”

a three part mediation that envisions a better Charlottesville community

featuring the work of Kim Salac, Stephanie DeHart, Ramona Martinez, Sri Kodakalla and artists from the Bridge Progressive Arts Iniative..

The Odd Little Museum is a micro-museum exhibit

housed in an old, renovated truck camper

that lives in the parking lot of WTJU 91.1 FM.

WTJU partners with local artists and artist collectives like the Bridge Progressive Arts Initiative and the Feminist Union of Charlottesville Creatives to exhibit works on various themes related to community.

WTJU also partners with UVA students in the Arts Administration program for assistance with curation, exhibit brainstorming, coordination and promotion.
